Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the SMM exhibition in Hamburg is classed as one of the top events in the shipbuilding industry’s international calendar. The exhibition showcases traditional and innovative shipbuilding, machinery and marine technology and industry experts from all over the world will be flocking to the German city to participate in the bi-annual event.
HATLAPA is again participating in the event this year. Having been a firm exhibitor since the first show, the marine equipment supplier is greeting visitors from all over the world in its home ground. Despite the current world economic situation HATLAPA believes that the show will be a success. Jörg Tollmien, Managing Director , says: “It’s been a difficult few years for everyone in the industry, but SMM has always been a good investment for HATLAPA and we are hoping for a similar success to 2010, when HATLAPA welcomed over 350 new contacts to our two-storey stand.”
This year HATLAPA has something new to offer its visitors. Jörg Tollmien explains, “In order to give a real insight into our innovations, we will be holding daily technical presentations on our booth.” Representatives from HATLAPA and its Norwegian daughter company Triplex will be speaking about the benefits and operational cost savings of their innovate products.
