Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI), a company that manufactures a vast array of products that demonstrate technological mastery of the land, sea, air and outer space, has announced that they will be joining the tidal energy sector as well.
According to renewableenergyworld.com, an increase in support for Wave & Tidal energy in the UK has attracted companies to succeed in this emerging marine sector.
KHI, as well as RWE Npower Renewables and Siemens, will take part in ITES2012. KHI’s development staff will present a case study into the work they have done to date on their development of a power generation system utilizing ocean tides.
