The fifth 57000DWT bulk carrier building for HHI was carried out keel-laying successfully at 10:18a.m. on 15th August 2012 in NHT, Vice general manager Mr. Yu Gang, owner and class attended the keel-laying.

In 2003, Jiangsu Hantong Heavy Industry (HT) was developed in anticipation of a global shortage in newbuilding yard capacities for the marine & offshore oil & gas market. This was followed by the addition of capacity from Jiangsu New Hantong Heavy Industry(NHT).
