Moog Inc. has announced that they have purchased Tritech International Ltd. from Halma P.L.C. on 22 August 2012.

Tritech will now be part of the Moog Components Group and report directly into the Moog Components Group’s Halifax operations. It is anticipated that this latest exciting development for Tritech will open up many new opportunities for Tritech and its customers.

Tritech began its professional practice in 1991 and has experienced successful growth over the past 21 years. This success has been directly related to the high-quality, committed professionals within Tritech and the valuable products and service that we supply to you. With Moog Component Group’s strategic focus on the subsea industry, we firmly believe that Moog Tritech is now best positioned to accelerate development of exciting new products while continuing to provide you the excellent service and support you expect.

Moog is a worldwide designer, manufacturer, and integrator of precision control components and systems. Moog’s high performance systems control military and commercial aircraft, satellites and space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, automated industrial machinery, and medical equipment. Moog Components Group designs, manufactures, and integrates rotary, electronic, and fiber optic components and systems for the same industries and has a strategic focus on several markets including the subsea and energy market.

Moog Tritech will continue to operate as an independent business unit within Moog Components Group and there are no planned changes in the business philosophy or processes.
