The Naming Ceremony for 25,000 DWT IMO II Chemical/Product Tanker (MD096) was successfully held in Nantong prince dock today.

On the ceremony, God mother Mrs. Pinker named the vessel “Reinhold Schulte”.

More than one hundred people attended the ceremony, including friends from Bernhard Schulte, SMC, DNV and trading house as well as Shipyard’s own employees.

MD096 is the last 25, 000DWT IMO II Chemical/Product Tanker among the three vessels the company built for Bernhard Schulte. The Technical Superintendent of the Owner is very satisfied with the quality of MD096, and he thinks that the shipyard has reached the standard of world’s first class shipyards.

This IMO II Chemical Tanker applies Marineline coating and has complicated stainless steel cargo oil piping. It only took 110 days from launching to delivery, and it only took 12 days from sea trial to delivery, which has set a new record for the construction speed of this type of vessel in Mingde’s history.
