WEDA’s Eastern Chapter Annual Meeting is scheduled for October 9-11 at the Eden Roc Renaissance Miami Beach.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Partnering for the Future of America’s Maritime Infrastructure and Access to the World’s Markets”.
The WEDA program begins Tuesday at 1:00 PM and concludes Thursday at noon.
Thursday’s session will afford contractors and the Corps an opportunity to discuss hopper dredge schedules, contracting, technical and communication issues, capital investments, and fleet status, etc.
An icebreaker reception will be held Tuesday evening from 6:30-7:30pm and a Networking Dinner Reception on Wednesday from 6:00-9:00pm.
Col. Jackson, South Atlantic Division Commander, and Col. Dodd, Jacksonville District Commander have tentatively RSVPed for the workshop and are excited to participate with attendees in a constructive dialogue.
