After all building records were beaten in order to accomplish client’s request of delivering the vessel three months before contractual delivery date in Damen Shipyards Gorinchem, the Company was able to join this Damen Multi Cat 1908 together with her sister-ship built at Damen Shipyards Cape Town, YN 518522, in the port of Rotterdam, from where they departed at the same time to final destination.
Both Mulit Cats (named by President Chavez ‘Bocono’ and ‘Masparro’) are already sailing in inland rivers of Venezuela.
The Damen Multi Cats are standard, multi-purpose work vessels. These compact vessels are up for almost every task. Damen has designed an ergonomic wheelhouse, allowing 360 degrees visibility. All communication and navigation equipment is within direct reach.
