Havila Shipping has informed that Norway’s energy giant Statoil has decided to extend contracts for Havila’s two vessels, Havila Clipper and Havila Mercury.
Statoil has declared the option for the PSV vessel Havila Clipper for a period of 6 months. The deal will keep the vessel working for the company until March 2013.
Furthermore, Statoil has exercised the option for the AHTS vessel Havila Mercury keeping the vessel under contract with Statoil until December 2013.
Havila Shipping, which operates a fleet of 27 vessels, did not disclose the value of the contracts.
