Apply Sørco has been awarded the operations and maintenance support contract for the Goliat field in the Barents Sea by Eni Norge. The contract includes pre-operations support services as well as technical services and support during the field operations phase.

The first phase of the work includes provision of technical services for supporting the preparations for operation as well as assistance during the FPSO completion at sites in Ulsan, South Korea, inshore Norway and offshore. After production start-up, the work includes provision of operations and maintenance support both onshore and offshore.

“We are very proud to be trusted as the selected for supplier for the operations contract and look forward to working closely with Eni Norge,” says Frederik Hvistendahl, Managing Director in Apply Sørco .

“The Goliat contract is also very important with regards to building a strong Apply presence in the high north and forms an important basis for building capacity at our local office in Hammerfest,” Hvistendahl adds.

The contract value is estimated to approximately MNOK 150 during the firm contract period of three years. The contract provides for two options of two years extension periods. The contract implies both offshore operations and onshore technical support personnel. The mobilisation for the contract starts immediately. Apply Sørco has entered into a co-operation with BIS Production Partner for the supply of certain resources to be deployed under particular contract.
