Premier Oil plc (Premier) has awarded Ocean Installer a contract to perform offshore survey operations in support of the development of the Solan oil field.

The work is scheduled to take place in September-October and Ocean Installer will make use of the highly efficient long-term chartered construction support vessel (CSV) Normand Clipper.
The Solan field is located in the UK North Sea, west of the Shetland Islands (block 205/26a), at a water depth of approximately 137 metres. Premier is the operator of the Solan field, where production is estimated to commence in the fourth quarter of 2014.
