Wan Hai Lines held a christening ceremony for “WAN HAI 103″ and “WAN HAI 105″ at CSBC CORP., TAIWAN Keelung shipyard on October 4th 2012. Mr. Po Ting Chen, chairman of Wan Hai Lines presided over the ceremony.
In total there are 14 vessels ordered by Wan Hai to CSBC Corp, delivery of the ships is expected to be completed in the first half of 2013.
“WAN HAI 103″ and “WAN HAI 105” are sister vessels with the same principal particulars as follows: maximum loading capacity is 1,040 TEU, length over all, 144.1 meters; draft, 8.2 meters; 11,500 dead weight and 18.8 nautical miles max cruising speed.
Both fully containerized vessels are equipped with the latest and most advanced naval technologies in order to guarantee quality services to both Wan Hai’s network and the customers.
