Norway: DOF Gets Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement Contract from Statoil

Norwegian-based specialist subsea service company DOF Subsea Norway AS has secured a contract with Statoil Petroleum AS for the Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement – Marine Operations part of the Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement Project.

The contract is for removal of flexible flowline ends, installation of new flexible flowlines, installation of new umbilicals, tie-in, testing, RFO and survey.

The work will be carried out at the Tordis Field in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The offshore operations part of the project will commence late summer 2013 and will last for approximately 2 months utilizing two vessels from DOF Subsea’s modern fleet of construction vessels. The engineering will commence imminently at DOF Subsea’s office in Bergen.

Jan-Kristian Haukeland, EVP DOF Subsea Atlantic , says “The Tordis Flex Jumper Replacement Project is a significant contract for DOF Subsea. We are delighted to have been awarded this contract by Statoil, which will contribute DOF Subsea’s growth in the Subsea market.”

DOF Subsea provides Project Management, Engineering, Subsea Construction, IRM, Survey and ROV services.
