A new submersible logger which integrates with any of Turner Designs’ Cyclops-7 Fluorometers/Turbidimeters has been developed by Precision Measurement Engineering Inc.
The logger can be configured with either stainless or titanium Turner Designs Cyclops-7-NC (no connector) sensors.
The logger will record time, date, internal temperature, fluorescence or turbidity, and gain. Data are recorded on a removable SD card and the unit is powered by two alkaline C cell batteries, potentially powering the Cyclops-7 for up to a year or 30,000 sample measurements before requiring replacement.
The system comes complete with configuration and visualization software. Users can select a sample interval and configure the logger for extended or short-term deployments.
