Woodside Energy Ltd has exercised the first of two remaining 30 day options, thereby extending Safe Astoria’s operations at the North Rankin Redevelopment project until 30th November 2012.

The value of the exercised option is approximately USD 5.7 million. Prosafe is the world’s leading owner and operator of semi-submersible accommodation/service rigs. Operating profit reached USD 192.3 million in 2011. The company operates globally, employs 550 people and is headquartered in Larnaca, Cyprus.
