Australia’s Woodside Energy Ltd has exercised the first of two remaining 30 day options,for Prosafe’s accommodation rig, Safe Astoria.
According to the press release issued by Prosafe, Safe Astoria’s operations at the North Rankin Redevelopment project will now run until 30th November 2012.
The value of the exercised option for the rig that offers accommodation for 349 offshore personnel is approximately USD 5.7 million.
