GMS Saudi Arabia’s self elevating and self propelled jack up barge Kudeta has been chartered to Saudi Aramco to provide cover for Aramco barge drydocking programme commencing in December of 2012.

This is the third GMS SESV contracted to Saudi Aramco in the second half of this year. GMS Saudi Arabia is a joint venture between GMS and the Al Shoaibi Group of Saudi Arabia.

The Kudeta is the fourth barge to be contracted into the JV since the beginning of 2011 when GMS Endurance provided accommodation services to J Ray Mcdermott in the Karan field hook up.

The SESV’s Kinoa and Keloa are already operating in Saudi Arabia on long term contracts.
