North Sea and Gulf Operators to Present Energy Outlook at Offshore Energy 2012

High level representatives of oil and gas companies operating on the North Sea and in the Gulf of Mexico will disclose their outlook on energy production in the respective regions as part of Offshore Energy Exhibition & Conference on 23 and 24 October in the Amsterdam RAI. Several hundreds of offshore professionals will attend the operators’ presentations of market expectations.

Ruud Zoon, Managing Director GDF SUEZ E&P Nederland BV, will give a presentation entitled “Dutch offshore; a treasure for those willing to hunt”. Fraser Weir, Business Manager, Centrica, will present his view on North Sea growth. The session in which they speak is chaired by Mr Ante Frens, Asset Manager Offshore with Shell / NAM.

Following this North Sea focused session, the conference moves on to offer perspectives on the Gulf of Mexico. Carlos Morales Gil, Director General of the Mexican state owned company Pemex will address the latest developments in upstream oil and gas in Mexico. The session will be chaired by H.E. Eduardo Ibarrola, Ambassador of Mexico to the Netherlands.

The conference program is organized alongside the Offshore Energy exhibition, which is going to attract over 6,500 visitors. On the exhibition floor, over 400 exhibitors will showcase their services and products. The exhibition floor has grown 50% compared to last year’s edition and now covers 12.000 m2.
