Edda Sprint has been awarded an extension to it’s contract with Denmark’s Maersk Oil & Gas, Østensjø Rederi has informed.
The platform supply vessel, which has been working for Maersk Oil & Gas for 9 years now, has recently been awarded a one year extension to it’s contract. The vessel, previously known as Edda Frende, will stay with Maersk Oil & Gas until at least 1st October 2013.
“We congratulate the ship and her crew for their good efforts which have lead to a valued customer wishing to extend it’s relationship with Østensjø Rederi and the Edda Sprint, and look forward to another year of good cooperation,” the shipowner said.
