Spain: Gondan Shipyard Launches PSV EDDA FERD

Platform Supply Vessel “EDDA FERD” (Construction C444) built for the Norwegian Shipowner OSTENSJO REDERI AS, was launched, Oct 17th, at Gondan shipyard, Figueras facility (Castropol). Platform Supply Vessel “EDDA FERD” (Construction C444) built for the Norwegian Shipowner OSTENSJO REDERI AS, was launched, Oct 17th, at Gondan shipyard, Figueras facility (Castropol).

This PSV is designed by the Norwegian company SKIPSTEKNISK, with the length of 92,60 m, breadth of 20,6 m the vessel can accommodate crew of 40 and has the deck area of 1,000 m2.

Her function will be support and supply operations to the oil platforms that operate in the North Sea.

The “EDDA FERD” is the third PSV that Gondan shipyard builds for OSTENSJO REDERI AS and her delivery date is scheduled for September 2013.
