On Wednesday, 17th October 2012, at high tide, the Edda Ferd vessel built for the Norwegian shipowner Østensjø Rederi was launched at Astilleros Gondan shipyard in Spain,
Edda Ferd is a 92,60 m long platform supply vessel of Skipsteknisk design. It can accommodate 40 people and has a deck area of 1.000 m2.
It is the third PSV built by the Spanish shipyard for Østensjø Rederi,
Following the delivery, which is, according to Astilleros Gondan, scheduled for September 2013, the new vessel will work as a support and supply ship for the offshore oil platforms the North Sea.
