Allpacks international, a highly specialized company in the field of hydraulic equipment, especially in piling equipment and offshore shared their latest closely finished projects with the attendees of Offshore Energy 2012.
WaveWalker 1 – project of the JV Fugro Seacore and Van Oord
Allpacks International was contracted for building, delivering, testing and commissioning of two special 800SP hydraulic power units for the WaveWalker 1 project which will operate in Brazil.
The units will not only drive the 8 jack-up legs but they are the hydraulic “hart” of the WaveWalker 1 and drive the two cranes as well.
To operate with the WaveWalker 1, it needed a completely built control room which is connected to the two Allpacks 800SP Power Units. This control room is engineered, built and tested by the specialized Engineers of Allpacks.
Dockwise – HPU for 12 EMCÉ winches
Allpacks International was appointed as the manufacturer of the 12 Special hydraulic power units for a new project of Dockwise in combination with 12 EMCÉ winches.
The units will be used to pull and push the oil platform and the special Dockwise vessel via GPS exactly above the platform foundation.
Currently this complete platform is under construction in Korea and will be transported to and located in the waters of Myanmar.
During the entire processes Allpacks engineer will be located in both areas for assistance and commissioning of the Special Hydraulic Units.
