South Korea: STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Wins Drillship Order

STX Offshore & Shipbuilding Co. a South Korean shipbuilding company has received an order for construction of a drillship for an unknown European customer, Yonhap News Agency reported Monday.

Under the contract worth US$700 million, the vessel should be completed by the second half of 2015, the company confirmed.

Other details of the contract haven’t been disclosed.
