GSP Wins Hunter Pipeline Replacement Contract from E.ON E&P UK Limited

Grup Servicii Petroliere S.A. has been awarded the contract for pipelay and trenching services for the Hunter Pipeline Replacement Project by E.ON E&P UK LIMITED.

The scope of work comprises installation of 8 km 8’’ pipeline between Hunter well head and Murdock K well, trenching and backfilling, survey, project management and engineering.

Offshore operations are due to commence in March 2013, in the Hunter field, located in UK Southern North Sea. The pipelay operations will be performed by GSP Falcon, the DNV class vessel.

E.ON E&P UK LIMITED is an upstream oil and gas company owned by E.ON Ruhrgas E&P GmbH, a subsidiary of E.ON Ruhrgas AG, headquartered in Essen, Germany. E.ON Ruhrgas AG is part of the E.ON group.

Grup Servicii Petroliere (GSP) , is a member of Upetrom Group, and provides a wide range of integrated services in offshore drilling, offshore construction and support vessels, well services, plug and abandonment and decommissioning, hydro-technical construction, engineering, subsea installation, offshore windmill construction & installation, training. GSP is a member of the International Pipeline and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA), International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), International Well Control Forum (IWCF), and International Maritime Contractors Association (IMCA).
