On Oct. 23 the first 47, 500DWT bulk carrier unit “You Hao 1” of Shanghai Friendship Shipping., LTD. was successfully named and delivered at CIC Changxing shipyard’s No.1 outfitting quay of. The vessel was built by China Shipping Industry Jiangsu (CICJS).
The ceremony was hosted by Mr. Wang Yiling, the Executive Director of CICJS. The Secretary of the Party Committee of China Shipping Industry (CIC) Zhang Yibing extended welcome address, while Mr. Dong Wenxue, the Chairman of the Board of Shanghai Friendship Shipping., LTD. addressed the present on behalf of the owner.
Mr. Zhang Yibing, Mr. Zhou Liming, Mr. Wang Yundan, the Chairman of the Board of Shanghai Electric Power Co.,Ltd., GM of Shanghai Electric Power Co., Ltd. Liu Guangchi, Deputy GM of China Shipping Development Co., Ltd Tan Weixin, GM of China Shipping Bulker Qiu Guoxuan, the Secretary of CPC Branch of Shipping Finance Co., Ltd. Sun Xiaobin, and Mr. Dong Wenxue jointly cut the ribbon at the naming and delivery ceremony for the new ship. Mr. Wang Yundan named the new ship and conducted the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle.
