Endeavour International’s today announced that J. Michael Kirksey has submitted his resignation, effective immediately, as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, in order to spend more time in other areas of interest.
“We appreciate Mike’s dedication to Endeavour and his leadership in our financial activities during the past 5 years. We wish him the best,” said Bill Transier, Chairman and CEO.
The Company has engaged Spencer Stuart to begin immediately the search process for a new Chief Financial Officer.
New Blocks
Endeavour, last week announced it has been awarded 7 new licenses, covering ten exploration blocks in the U.K. North Sea.
The blocks, awarded in the 27th Licensing Round conducted by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), are located around Endeavour’s core operating areas. Endeavour will be the operator of these blocks.
