Dr Andrew Tyler, CEO Marine Current Turbines, a Siemens Business, has been appointed as the Wave & Tidal representative to the RenewableUK Board.
He brings with him a wealth of commercial experience and excellent knowledge of the requirements of the wave and tidal energy industries. Since joining Marine Current Turbines, Andrew has been involved across the range of RenewableUK’s activities, adding strategic focus and technical nouse to their work.
As such he is uniquely placed to represent the sector and ensure that marine energy retains its place at the forefront of RenewableUK’s efforts.
The post will run until April 2013.
