SITC Delivers Newbuild MV SITC FANGCHENG (China)

The naming and delivery ceremony of M/V “SITC FANGCHENG” was successfully held, October 25, in Zhoushan, China, by SITC International Holdings Co., Ltd. (SITC Holdings) and Yangfan Group Co., Ltd. (Yangfan Group).

On behalf of both parties, Mr. Xiao Senyuan, President of SITC Shipowning Group Co., Ltd. and Mr. Huang Ruichang, General Manager of Dashenzhou Shipbuilding Company of Yangfan Group, signed the delivery documents in the ceremony. While Mrs. Li Xuexia, Executive Director & HR Director of SITC Holdings, gave this new ship her name of “SITC FANGCHENG”.

Honored guests from SITC Brokers, Germanischer Lloyd, and Supervisor team of SITC attended the ceremony.

M/V “SITC FANGCHENG”, modified economic-design feeder container vessel as “SITC ECO 1100TEU” series, is the fifth sister vessel delivered by Yangfan Group to SITC Holdings in 2012. And she is also the seventh vessel received by SITC Holdings in this year.

After delivery, M/V ” SITC FANGCHENG” will join the Vietnam – China – Hong Kong – Japan – Korea route service.

These “SITC ECO 1100TEU” vessels, concept-designed by SITC, are assembled with BWTS and new pattern main engine of common rail & EFI, which meet the latest international emission standard with high speed and lower fuel consumption. And with successive delivery of these vessel series, the competitive advantages of SITC in Asia market will be further strengthened.
