Silverstar Marine announced it has recently secured a contract to provide Client Representation Services for the construction of three, 27m Windfarm Support Boats for existing client, Turbine Transfers.

Silverstar Marine’s Managing Director, Simon Knight confirmed “the scope of work includes regular attendance at the shipyard to assess the progress, ensuring all vessels meet the required standards and also verification of the vessels’ performance during commissioning and sea trials.” He added, “the contract also includes reviewal of contract documents and construction drawings.”

The vessels are to be constructed by Austal at their Philippines shipyard, and are expected to commence in March 2013.

This is the third contract with Turbine Transfers, following the successful completion of three vessels at Austal’s Henderson shipyard, and a 27 metre TRI SWATH, nearing completion at Austal’s Philipines shipyard.

“We continually strive to provide value added services to our clients and our third contract with Turbine Transfers is testimony to that” , Mr Knight added.
