The Ferguson Group, specialists in the rental of containers, accommodation modules and engineering modules to the offshore energy industry around the world, is promoting its range of equipment to delegates at the largest event for the industry in the Middle East.

The company is exhibiting at the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (ADIPEC), 11-14 November, in the Offshore and Marine Hall at stand G160.

Ferguson Group launched two new companies in the Middle East earlier this year, Ferguson Middle East FZE and Ferguson Middle East LLC, based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The new companies are focused on supporting the Group’s growing range of offshore containers, accommodation modules, workspace modules and refrigerated containers.

Approximately 75% of the Group’s rental fleet operates from overseas locations and the Middle East region continues to be a strong focus for the company. To support its expansion in the region over the years, Ferguson Group has been working with local agents for several years, which has allowed the company to make an impact and achieve successful results with a rapid turnaround for customers in the Middle East.

Mogens Thyssen, Country Manager for Ferguson Middle East , said: “There has been a great deal of interest in the Groups products and services in the Middle East and by exhibiting at such a well-attended event as ADIPEC it provides a perfect opportunity for us to meet with existing and potential clients and discuss their requirements. Our products are continually adapting in line with feedback from customers and industry requirements. Establishing our base in the Middle East has played an important role in the continued expansion of the Group’s international reach. The region is very important to the Group as it continues to expand its international product offering.”

Ferguson Middle East is based in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, both of which are key areas for offshore industry sector. Being close to clients is important in enabling the Ferguson Middle East team to be on hand to support and assist its customers.

The Ferguson Group employs more than 170 people worldwide. The Group, headquartered in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire, has operations in all major global oil and gas locations.
