On 26th of November 2012, the signing ceremony of the 2+6 33,000 DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tankers between Nantong Mingde Heavy Industry Stock Co., Ltd. and J.O. Invest was held in Nantong JinShi International Hotel.

Mingde is the independent designer of the vessels in question. In consideration of economical efficiency and environmental friendliness, Mingde has optimized the design based on the current 30,000 DWT Stainless Steel Chemical Tankers, therefore the deadweight of the new vessels has been increased 10%, but the fuel oil consumption has been decreased about 30%.

About 60 distinguished guests attended the ceremony, including Mr. Frode Høyland (Managing Director) and other representatives from J.O. Invest, Mr.Chen Yixing, Deputy Mayor of Nantong Municipal People’s Government and relevant leaders from the government, as well as partners from cooperative banks.
