Croatia: 3.MAJ Hands Over Newbuild Tanker to PEGASUS

3.MAJ shipyard based in Rijeka, Croatia delivered yesterday, on November 27th,’BIT REDO’ tanker to PEGASUS BV, a Dutch company operating from Amsterdam. 3.MAJ shipyard based in Rijeka, Croatia delivered yesterday, on November 27th,’BIT REDO’ tanker to PEGASUS BV, a Dutch company operating from Amsterdam.

The tanker has been taken over from Kraljevica shipyard, after the latter was closed due to financial difficulties.

‘BIT REDO’ is a 108 meter long tanker designed to carry oil, asphalt and chemicals and it has a load capacity of 8881 tons.

The tanker was built under the supervision of classification society Bureau Veritas, and will sail under the Dutch flag.

After the delivery, the order book of 3.MAJ consists of four asphalt tankers and four barges for transport of asphalt ordered by the Swedish shipping company WISBY TANKERS.
