IKM Testing will contribute Dragados within cleaning, pneumatic and hydraulic testing, pigging and torque.
The contract has been awarded by Dragados Offshore, a company that services the Oil and Gas industry from the three main business centres: the headquarters’s office in Puerto Real and the Yard in Algeciras, in Spain, and the Yard of Tampico in México. The company has earlier been involved in the execution of Snorre, Kristin and Snøvit.
Dragados major projects are jackets, process, accommodation and utility decks, semisubmersible hulls and their decks, turrets and FPSO modules, load and mooring buoys, modular refinery plants and industrial equipments.
Ahead of local Norwegian fabricators Dragados will perform engineering, procurement and construction for Conoco Phillips on the Eldfisk project in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. IKM Testing works will be done in the Eldfisk Jacket.
The duration is two/three months and starts in November 2012.
