Russia: Nevsky Shipyard Inks State Contract for Construction of Salvage Vessel

Directorate of the State Customer for Marine Transport Development Programmes and Nevsky Shipyard, LLC signed, on November 29th 2012, the State Contract for the construction of multipurpose salvage vessel, capacity 4 MW.

Nevsky Shipyard, LLC got the right to conclude the given State Contract having won the open competitive tender. The State Tender Committee announced the results of the tender on November 15th, 2012.

Multipurpose salvage vessel, capacity 4 MW will be built in accordance with the Design Project MPSV07, developed by Marine Engineering Bureau-Design-SPb, JSC.

Nevsky Shipyard has experience in construction of MPSV07 project vessels.

In October 2012, the lead multipurpose salvage vessel “Spasatel Karev” was delivered to the Customer.

Two other vessels “Spasatel Kavdejkin” and “Spasatel Zaborschikov” are fitted out.
