Island Offshore has agreed to a new 2 year contract for the SCV Island Pioneer with Ocean Mexicana SA de CV. The vessel has been working for OM since delivery in April 2006 and the new contract will go in direct continuation with the current contract.
The vessel is of P101 Ulstein Design and is equipped with DP II, a 140 ton offshore crane and accommodation facilities for 87 persons. The vessel will perform a variety of subsea and light construction work during this charter.
Island Offshore said that it is pleased to continue the good relationship with OM and that it looks forward to more successful operations.
