At a glittering gala function held in the Atlantis, the Palm, Dubai on Monday, 26 November 2012, For second year in running Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement (India) Pvt. Ltd., won the prestigious “Best Ship Manager Award” for the year 2012 at the event hosted by Seatrade Middle East- Indian Sub-continent Awards 2012, best known as the ‘Oscars’ of the maritime world.
The ceremony was well attended by around 750 guests comprising of shipping dignitaries and professionals. The “Award” was received by Mr. B.N. Prasad.
The companies who were winners have shown exemplary levels of achievement, in areas such as technical and operational innovation, commitment to safety and quality, Education and training social and environmental responsibility, business acumen and development of human resources.
The award was judged by a 12 –strong panel of esteemed international judges. An independent judging panel chaired by the Secretary General of the IMO, selected the award recipients in the technical and operation categories.
