During her voyage to Norway on December 10th, Christos XXII towed a part of Blue Thunder (new build PSV), when her towing wire broke in severe weather circumstances.
Through a Norwegian Broker, KOTUG was approached to assist Christos XXII. Because of busy times in the port, KOTUG chartered the shoalbuster Sea Alfa which sailed immediately from Flushing to assist Christos XXII in her precarious situation.
Next day, Christos XXII was able to reconnect with the assistance of Sea Alfa and escorted the convoy to Rotterdam, where they have been assisted by SD Shark and SD Seal to bring the casco safely alongside.
