Western Baltija Shipbuilding Delivers New Trawler to Norwegian Client

On 18th of December, Western Baltija Shipbuilding delivered new fishing trawler hull (NB56) for the Norwegian client “Liegruppen Fiskeri AS”. On 18th of December, Western Baltija Shipbuilding delivered new fishing trawler hull (NB56) for the Norwegian client “Liegruppen Fiskeri AS”.

The vessel is a sister ship to the newbuilding “LIAFJORD” (NB51) which was delivered on March.

Length of this fishing trawler – 64.0 m, width – 13.8 m. Nine refrigerated sea water tanks (RSW) have been mounted onboard. Baltija Western Shipbuilding also mounted main engine, gearbox, steering-propulsion complex, various pipelines and other systems on the trawler. The hull of 871 tonnes was metallized and painted.

Classification society ″Det Norske Veritas″ supervised the construction of the fishing vessel. Final works will be carried out at “Liegruppen Fiskeri AS” (Norway).
