SGS, the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company, is set to exhibit at enertec 2013 in Leipzig, Germany on January 29-31, 2013.

Enertec

The ultimate platform for innovation and development, the enertec International Trade Fair for Energy Generation, Distribution and Storage, showcases efficient and effective technologies as well as innovative services for the close-to-load generation, distribution and storage of energy. Additionally, the event offers an extensive national and international networking opportunity.

Enertec focuses on the strong catchment areas of eastern Germany and the eastern European region reaches industrial decision-makers, municipality officials and their undertakings, consultant engineers, planning offices, public utilities and plant operators. As the most respected independent German energy trade fair, enertec’s broad spectrum of both participants and visitors provides a futuristic overview of holistic solutions for energy supply. The 2013 focus will be placed on “Intelligent and Efficient Energy Systems”.

The three-day enertec event will provide an exciting venue in which to showcase the extensive SGS portfolio of renewable energy services. SGS project finance and technical due diligence strategies along with both on and offshore project certification will be presented. Owner’s and lender’s engineers, in-service inspection, end-of-warranty survey and risk management services will also be highlighted.

SGS Hosts to Demonstrate Expertise

SGS Hamburg experts, Thomas Eilers, Khalife El-Hossein, Jan Fischer, Olaf Robenek, and Ismail Chalil will be on hand to present SGS services, answer any questions and offer unique solutions. SGS eagerly looks forward to enertec 2013 and the chance to illustrate its unrivalled range of services and its breadth of expertise.

Based on extensive experience and knowledge, SGS offers independent, third-party consultancy, inspection, verification, testing and certification services for renewable energy projects to include wind and tidal systems. SGS offers a wide range of renewable energy services specifically designed to minimize failure and to improve the financial viability of the assets. Therefore, SGS benefits not only project owners, but also financiers and underwriters, all of whom have a stake in renewable energy projects.
