Marine Scotland Science invites tenders for the upgrade, maintenance and provision of system support for the two Multi Beam Echosounder Systems (MBES), the Scottish Government informs.
The systems are owned by Marine Scotland Science and installed on the research vessels MRV Scotia and MRV Alba Na Mara. MRV Scotia’s home port is Aberdeen and MRV Alba’s home port is Fraserburgh.
The systems major components comprise: Reson 7125 dual frequency and Applanix Wavemaster GNSS aided IMU.
The deadline for the submission of tenders is January 31, 2013.
