On behalf of the insolvency administrator of P+S WERFTEN the following statement has been released:
The signed order for two RoRo special vessels for the Danish shipping company DFDS is now in the hands of the insolvency administrator and is subject to various conditions. As the insolvency administrator believes that these conditions will be fulfilled, the insolvency administrator of P+S Werften has instructed the operating company Stralsunder Schiffbaugesellschaft to implement a preparation team in order to ensure an organized start of production at the Volkswerft Stralsund on Monday, 14th January. 300 staff will commence the actual production a week later, on 21st January.
