China: Jiangnan Shipyard May Build Small LNG Carriers for CNOOC EnerTech

CNOOC EnerTech (CNOOC Energy and Technology Services) aims to order up to two 30,000 cbm LNG carriers at China’s Jiangnan Shipyard, Asiasis reported. The LNG carriers would cost about USD 80 million each and Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI) is currently designing the vessel

CNOOC EnerTech (CNOOC Energy and Technology Services) aims to order up to two 30,000 cbm LNG carriers at China’s Jiangnan Shipyard, Asiasis reported.

The LNG carriers would cost about USD 80 million each and Shanghai Merchant Ship Design & Research Institute (SDARI) is currently designing the vessels.

The company is also planning to build 16,000 cbm LNG carriers, according to the report.
