Vos Prodect Innovations secures a new contract from Cofely Fabricom sa/nv, for the supply of sealed cable hang-off systems of E.ON’s Amrumbank OWF.
The Amrumbank West offshore wind farm is located around 35 km north of the island of Helgoland. It will consist of 80 Siemens wind turbines with a rated output of 3.6 MW each, generating a total of 288 MW.
Vos Prodect sealed cable hang-off systems have been selected by Cofely Fabricom in order to meet the operational and technical requirements of the project. Amrumbank project will be the 3rd offshore wind farm project for Vos Prodect, which will be build in Germany.
The contract covers the engineering and supply of sealed cable hang-off systems for the infield cables of the offshore wind farm. The sealed cable hang-offs are designed to provide a corrosion free environment inside the cable deck, that results in a long term cost saving effect. The subject systems have previously been qualified with successful project deliveries.
This contract award consolidates the position of Vos Prodect cable hang-off systems and is proof of becoming a standard requirement with its unique features.
