Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. has signed contracts for the construction of in total 6+2+2 sixth generation 180,000 dwt capesize bulk carriers with two EU shipping companies.

By optimization design and configuration of linear, propulsion equipment, affiliated energy saving device, Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Company has managed to reduce the ship’s fuel consumption by 20%, increase transport capacity by 30%, and met the latest requirements of CSR by IACS, PSPC by IMO, the fuel tank double hull protection standard, TierⅡ emission standard etc.
