The Petroleum Safety Authority Norway (PSA) carried out an audit of the operation of pipelines, subsea facilities on Ormen Lange and the onshore facility at Nyhamna during 27-28 Nov. 2012.

The objective of the audit was to assess Shell’s compliance with requirements in regulations relating to health, safety and the environment within operations, maintenance and inspection of pipelines, cables and subsea facilities for Ormen Lange, including the tie-in with the facility at Nyhamna.

No nonconformities were identified.

Improvement items were identified in connection with:

– Temporary procedures

– Alarms in the control room
