OPera is a conceptual study of offshore power systems for oil and gas installations.
The objective of this study, performed by DNV, is to complement existing power hub concepts, provide ideas and inspiration to the industry, and serve as invitation to collaboration.
Main focus of the study is the networking of offshore installations in an electric power system, including challenges and opportunities for the equipment, the system as a whole, and connected installations.
