CARIS HPD Publications Module supports the creation and maintenance of nautical publications, such as Notices to Mariners, List of Lights and other publications. The Publications Module, which was recently released in CARIS HPD, has added further production possibilities for existing and new HPD users.
After implementing HPD for paper chart and ENC production, the Netherlands Hydrographic Service is now preparing the implementation of Publications Module. Recently a two-day on-site workshop was held allowing the future users of the module an opportunity to understand the potential of the different tools within Publications Module and to discuss its integration into their production system.
During the workshop existing publications of the Netherlands Hydrographic Service were examined and customizing capabilities of Publications Module for the creation of those publications was shown.
