Top Side Offshore Technology has been selected to supply their camera systems for Shell’s Prelude FLNG project.

The Rolloos camera products are designed to be used in harsh environments and therefor suitable for these high tech projects. The Rolloos CCTV products are well known in the oil & gas industry and used by many drilling contractors and operators. This state of the art product is designed by Top Side Offshore Technology.

Shell’s FLNG technology is an important development for the LNG industry as it reduces both the project costs and environmental footprint of an LNG development, because there is no need for long pipelines to shore; compression platforms to push the gas to shore; near shore works such as dredging and jetty construction; and onshore development such as building roads, laydown areas and accommodation facilities.

The Prelude FLNG facility is expected to stay moored at location for 25 years and is expected to produce at least 3.6 million tonnes of LNG per year, as well as Liquid Petroleum Gas and condensate for export.
