Reson Gets Multi Beam Echosounder Systems Contract in UK

Reson Offshore Ltd has recently secured a contract through Marine Scotland’s tender procedure for two Multi Beam Echosounder Systems.

Reson will provide upgrade, maintenance and system support for the two Multi Beam Echosounder Systems (MBES).

The systems are owned by Marine Scotland Science and installed on the research vessels MRV Scotia and MRV Alba Na Mara.

MRV Scotia’s home port is Aberdeen and MRV Alba’s home port is Fraserburgh.

The systems major components comprise: Reson 7125 dual frequency and Applanix Wavemaster GNSS aided IMU.

The total value of the contract is £41,665 (US$63,078).
