On Thursday the 21th of March, MMT´s GIS experts Andre Reinlert and Ola Svensson will give a presentation with the topic “GIS for marine survey data” at the conference Kartdagarna in Jönköping, Sweden.

The presentation is about the use of GIS (Geographical Information System) for marine installations such as cables, wind farms and pipelines. Traditionally, paper maps are the primary product, but a regime shift towards GIS is now ongoing.

MMT has gained extensive GIS experience over the past 10 years for presentation and evaluation of combined survey results and desktop studies. At this event, André and Ola will use the Nord Stream project as an example of successful GIS work.

The Swedish conference Kartdagarna is taking place on the 19-21 March 2013 in Jönköping Sweden.
