CARIS announced the release of CARIS S-57 Composer 2.4, the next-generation desktop application for production of electronic navigation and related products, including S-57 Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC), Additional Military Layers (AML), Inland ENC (IENC) and Digital Nautical Charts (DNC).
S-57 Composer 2.4 includes options for new VPF Product creation, the addition of VPF AML CLB and TOD0 products, data management, quality assurance, and viewing of datasets. Also included is some new much-requested functionality related to S-57 products, and speed improvements to loading of external data and redrawing of all data types in the Display window.
